𝗜𝗼𝗧 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘂𝘁:• Supported the roll-out of an IoT(Internet of Things) device into the AB Equipment rental vehicle fleet and customer-owned fleets.• Collaborated with external stakeholders including Fonterra and Nautech to deliver a multi-hundred thousand dollar contract.• Decoded CAN Bus data and reverse engineered message frames for multiple vehicle models.• Prototyped and designed mechanical brackets using Fusion 360 and 3D printing for mounting IoT devices onto vehicles of various makes and models.• Travelled throughout NZ to different AB Equipment branches and trained mechanics to install IoT devices.𝗔𝗽𝗽 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:• Lead the development of a series of PowerApps(Low code platform) applications to facilitate IoT device installations.• Including a mobile app for mechanics to complete pre-job safety assessments.• A desktop dashboard for admin staff to assign installation jobs to mechanics linking to their calendars.• An installation app for instructing mechanics how to install IoT devices on various vehicles types including pictures and annotations.• Connected these apps to SharePoint databases and automated document creation using Microsoft Flows.
