I consider myself as an enthusiast person about data and improvement of processes, I like to do research, analysis and collect information in order to formulate improvement strategies or to make decisions. I worked in the automotive sector for almost 4 years as a Quality Engineer, I had the opportunity to be transferred as a support to the company affiliates in U.S.A where I could give support and earn experience. As a Quality Engineer what I enjoyed the most was working with my colleagues, investigating defects and gathering data to find the root cause of all issues found, often quality issues and difficult situations emerged and we had to act quickly and efficiently.Being assigned abroad had the main purpose to help and control quality defects found and perform investigations directly with the customer to make improvements, fortunately the objective was reached and the quality issues were diminished and contained in every project I was assigned to.I was able to meet a lot people, interact and learn from them, to lead and supervise a small group to carry out inspections of products, gather data about quality defects, based on this data make reports for my superiors and send feedback to the manufacture plants so they could take countermeasures to improve their processes.Although my professional background has been in mostly in the automotive quality sector, I chose to transition to the Data Analytics sector, for this reason I enrolled to Data analysis courses and recently completed a professional certification by Google, along with my professional experience and knowledge I can contribute with valuable assistance to the company.
