Aron A. Finkelstein is the Managing Attorney at the Murthy Law Firm. Aron began working in the field of immigration while clerking at a Baltimore law firm in 1995. He is an active member in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since 1997. He has served as a Co-Liaison to the State of Maryland Department of Labor, the Maryland Driver's License Committee, the Federal Department of Labor Committee for Region II, the AILA Congressional Committee, the Vice Chair for the Education Committee, the Chair of the DC Chapter- AILA Department of Labor Committee, and other committees over the years, including as a member of the AILA DC Chapter Executive Committee. At the Murthy Law Firm he focuses exclusively on U.S. immigration law.Aron is a member of the Maryland State Bar, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Employment Based Immigration Law Course

Research and interpret developments in immigration law. Prepare and file immigration and naturalization petitions/applications for permanent residency (family and employment based), citizenship (N-400 packet and N-648 waivers), change of status, H(1) (b) and H(1) (b) appeals, and other non-immigrant visas and extensions. Represent Aliens in interviews before the I.N.S in Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Evaluate and draft complaints, motions, and memoranda of law for naturalization appeals in Federal Court and Immigration Court. Conduct initial interview with potential clients and evaluate merits of the case. Draft and respond to discovery requests.

Evaluated and drafted judicial decisions on applications for various forms of relief from deportation, exclusion and removal, including asylum, withholding of deportation, suspension of deportation, voluntary departure, 212(c), 212(h), adjustment status and motions to reopen, pretermit, and rescind. Attended hearings and conferences with immigration judges regarding individual cases and clients. Researched and interpreted developments in immigration law.
