Arran developed insight led marketing strategies and plans for the NOW’s marketing and brand function. Arran led a programme to transform consumer content quality perceptions. He transformed marketing messaging with segment-specific, research led hierarchies for all products. He oversaw quarterly performance analyses.

Arran managed a team and multi-million pound annual marketing budget to deliver marketing campaigns. Arran Introduced a new rigorous creative and media testing methodology which reduced cost per acquisition, improved return on investment.

Arran built and maintained complex relationships between stakeholders in both British Gas and a range of partners across multiple sectors. He developed a consumer insight led, trigger-based contact programme utilising a Next Best Action segmentation model targeting partner consumers.

Arran managed multi-million pound campaigns across a full range of TTL channels. Arran oversaw the whole campaign including creative development and media purchasing from agency brief through to delivery. His work was nominated for a Marketing Society award for brand extension.

Arran led a project to re-price the heating upgrades portfolio to remain competitive against other installers. He identified the need for and implemented a control system to recover profit lost because of misquoting, material overspend and underestimating labour time. Arran working with technical engineers and suppliers introduced three new products to the portfolio.

Arran managed the development of a customer communications suite to retain customers who were being migrated onto new product trials. He project managed the introduction of a points based rewards scheme into a targeted group of customers to build loyalty and manage their user behaviour to maximise value.

Arran was responsible for designing, delivering and analysing multiple customer/beneficiary research projects to identify service satisfaction levels and routes for proposition improvement.
