Morrison is a multi utility company with many large contract through out the UK, My job role is to work as part of a team surveying the Openreach network. I survey/plan and supervise the implementation of Fibreoptic build from Head end to end user, this also involves using programs such as Orion and Geo hub so that I can plan spine work and PON build, in order to provide FTTP to premises for Openreach. I have achieved all the Openreach accreditation in order to perform this job role. I work at all levels and also work very closely with the client and attend regular meetings to ensure that all work is delivered to a high standard.

Kier are partners with Virgin Media, constructing and installing HFC/fibre infrastructure throughout the UK. I am employed as a cable project supervisor for the South-East and London. I am responsible for managing various projects including, direct customer connections and Business connections along with major fibre and HFC overlay projects such as Telefonica, Vodafone, MBNL, EE (mobile broadcast networks ltd), FTTP,Lightning and Diversionary works. I am responsible for the delivery of the projects to a ‘date managed’ data base plan, and hit SLA dates. We use daily programmes and oracles to track the work stack issued to sub-contractors. I manage 4 suppliers in my area. This consists of a workforce of around 80 operatives. My role involves quality checking all completed works, prestart surveys, liaison with local authorities where necessary, regular client and customer progress meetings along with in house project progress reports. I plan new jobs with planning and civils and re-plan when necessary. I also have full street works units and a full UK driving license with no endorsements.

Virgin Media is a national organisation for distributing Television, Broadband and Telephone services to businesses and residential customers. My responsibilities within the Company is to work as part of a team maintaining the network and installation of broadband, CATV and telephone services in a domestic and business environment.I worked very closely with the customers in order to maintain a good reputation and to achieve greater customer satisfaction. I work on a call out rota repairing faults and the recovery of damaged equipment; this consisted of telephony network rebuild of copper and PDH-SDH multiplexing exchanges and fibre distribution nodes for CATV broadcast & Broadband. I also worked on high level faults from head end to end user, this involved working on many types of transmission equipment. I have worked all over the UK in this job role.
