Muhammad Arshad Awan received his BSc degree in Mathematics and Physics as a major from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, and the MSc and MS degrees in Computer Science from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan, and Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad, Pakistan, respectively. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea. Currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, AIOU, Islamabad. He worked as a Lecturer in the same department from May 17, 2004, to August 23, 2016. He completed a project under the National Research Program for Universities (NRPU), funded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in Islamabad, Pakistan. One Ph.D. and 16 MS students have completed their research theses under his supervision.
