I am working as Chairman, Department of Economics at PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi. I have completed my bachelor and Master degree in Agriculture Economics from University of Agriculture Faisalabad and PhD from Preston University Kohat, Islamabad Campus. I joined Agriculture Extension department Government of Punjab in 1989 as Agriculture Officer Extension and performed duties in districts of Khushab, Sargodha and Chakwal. in 1996, i selected as Assistant Research Officer Economics at BLPRI Kherimurat, District Attock where i serve ten years on conducting research on livestock economics and marketing. i also got opportunity on working with ICARDA project on integrated agriculture. in 2007, i joined as Assistant Professor Agriculture Economics at PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi. in 2009 I joined a private limited company Farmers Market Pvt. Ltd. of PMAS-AAUR as General Manager. till 2013 i produced and exported 1.3 million dollar of tomato to Middle Eastern markets and worked with many of the international reputed firms like Unifruiti, Delmonte, Grand Castle, Carefour, etc.As an ambitious and hardworking individual, I often seek new challenges and try to think out-of-the box while looking for creative solutions to a given problem
