Design, development and implementation of Graduate Entry level programs under CAMS training methodology (DFWs development, assessment and verification systems).Developed “Career Ladder” system for established employees, based on competency profiles. Involved in full implementation of career ladder system.Designed the “Competency model” & the JAF for frontline positions in Operations andMaintenance (under the CAS scheme) in conjunction with the line staff, in order to assessthe individuals against the NVQ/ SVQ guidelines.Planning and execution of assessment and verification events for Junior Engineers under CAMS (Competency Assurance Management System). CAMS have been derived from CA systems originally prepared by TOTAL & BP.Identifying the SMEs from all divisions for all disciplines to be trained as Assessors & Verifiers.

Preparation of the annual training budget based on the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) conducted for the 30 trainees and 120 employees. Annual training budget planned for the year 2003 is approx. US $ 415,000.Designing and implementing the Career Development system of the employees to identify the high flyers and prepare Succession Plan.Designing of Skill Profiling & Skill Gap Analysis for various positions in the organization to conduct the TNA & training plan preparation.Preparation of IDPs (Individual Development Plans) for the UAE nationals based on the SWOT analysis and Training requirements.Principal team member in the implementation of “ASSESSMENT and DEVELOPMENT Center” project for the UAE nationals with the assistance of a consultant. The process helped in identifying potential hi flyers also identifying their behavioral skill profile.

Joined Ibn Rushd, a petrochemical company, a Sabic affiliate, in Saudi Arabia in the construction phase. Ibn Rushd produces Aromatics (Paraxylene 374000 MT/Y, Benzene 349000 MT/Y & Orthoxylene 74000 MT/Y) with UOP technology and PTA (Purified Terephthalic Acid) 350000 MT/Y with Tecnimont (Inca) technology. Involved in the construction/ commissioning activities and responsible for the following:Team Leader for inspection of equipment and vessels.Inspection of process pipelines, utility piping and preparing punch list for the discrepancies.Witnessing of hydro testing and clearance of test packs.Co-ordination with the construction contractor (Bechtel) to correct construction deficiencies.Preparation of Quality reports and checking of System Dossiers.Involved in the inspection of structural foundations, platforms and giving clearance for precommissioning of rotating equipments.Involved in the precommissioning activities like the functional tests for centrifugal pumps, agitators etc.Planning and integration of the maintenance jobs including preparation of daily, weekly maintenance activities plan in co-ordination with the Operations.

I was closely associated with the Maintenance of sophisticated textile machinery like HSS (High speed) winders, P.I.V make variable speed drives, SLM make twin lobe blowers etc. I have a good exposure of the maintenance of BARMAG make twin lobe blowers etc. I have a good exposure of the maintenance of BARMAG make texturising m/cs,Type: FK6 S-1200 and RIETER SCRAGG make DRAWSET m/c. Prepared the preventive maintenance and annual maintenance program for texturising m/cs, I have the exposure to thechemical plant and equipment’s like the overhaul of agitators, PET chips rotary cutter, vibrating screen and air dehumidifier and air dryers.
