The main purpose of my role is to perform testing of Metered Dose Inhalers and Dry Powder Inhalers using cascade impactors, dose uniformity apparatus and other inhaler testing equipment and analysing the sample using HPLC. The role also involves protocol writing, analytical testing, processing of the results, compilation, interpretation of the data and report writing. Key Highlights• Research and Development of new and existing pMDI and DPI devices.• Routine use of various analytical techniques including hplc, karl fischer, particle size analyser and cascade impactors.• Participation in 5S and lab clean.• Writing of protocols, study reports standard work instructions and capital expenditure requests.• Calibration and servicing of laboratory equipment and instruments.• Purchasing of assets and consumables via SAP.• Training the new members of the team.• Liaising with suppliers and contractors.

Providing training to both new starters and inexperienced team members on operational procedures, food hygiene and health and safety compliance, customer service skills and salesmanship.Working to deliver training against a defined skills matrix to raise branch standards.Assisting management with training needs / gap analysis to identify requirements.Supporting staff as a mentor or 'buddy', remaining available to offer support upon request.Playing an active front-line service and sales role, assisting customers with and influence purchasing decisions, promoting offers and new products and processing payments.Maintaining the hygienic and hazard-free state of public and kitchen areas in line with regulations.Assisting with temperature-probing and other food hygiene checks to ensure legal adherence.
