In my role, I am responsible for reconciling fund accounting with custody. This entails meticulously reconciling cash and assets held by the funds. As funds utilize various financial instruments, such as Derivatives, Bonds, Foreign exchange, and more, it is crucial to reconcile income and expenses following the appropriate tax rates, relief, and prescribed rates by companies and government. The main objective of my role is to accurately reconcile CGT, Tax, Fund Expenses, share sales and purchases, Dividends, Coupons, Derivatives, and Corporate Actions while ensuring that clients receive the relief they are entitled to. Additionally, I contribute to workflow efficiency, suggest improvements in technology, and perform other miscellaneous tasks, including creating procedures, and presentations, launching and closure of funds, and providing Training.

I have been trained in compiling financial reports and analyzing them. My role included VAT, bank reconciliation, budgeting and forecasting, and purchase and expense analysis for clients. Additionally, I handle weekly and monthly payrolls and assist clients with financial issues related to HMRC

I gained insights related to the audit cycle by shadowing professional auditors and had the opportunity to identify discrepancies while auditing clients, thereby promoting transparency, accountability, and accuracy within financial records
