My final role in the Army was as a Squadron Second in Command, acting as an operations and personnel manager for 70 soldiers across a variety of training functions and contributed to the leadership of the unit. Previously, I was a Troop Leader in the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment, which provides the ceremonial bodyguard to His Majesty the King during State Ceremonial occasions. During the Coronavirus Pandemic I was also part of Operation Rescript, the British Army Covid testing support to HMG.Prior to this, I served as a Troop Leader in the Household Cavalry Regiment based in Windsor as a reconnaissance commander.In this role, I deployed on an operation to Ukraine, and overseas training exercises in Oman, Canada and Germany. I additionally co-led a Nordic skiing team for four months in Norway, Germany, Austria and France which qualified and competed in the British National Championships, personally ranking 3rd Place in the United Kingdom for Novice Biathlon.

Grade: First Class LL101 - Introduction to English Law The course consists of 59 hours of lectures and two examinations, covering the main areas of: - Contract- Tort- Property and Trusts- Criminal Law- Public LawI studied at the LSE Law Summer School with a view to explore law as a non-law undergraduate and corporate law as a potential career.

Mergers & Acquisitions Intern - Assisted in valuation financial modelling, pitch-book drafting and research. Oil operations company A’s Joint Venture with oil operations company B. - Analysed ownership structure, which was particularly challenging due to Hong Kong’s conglomerate structure, concluded that oil operations company A held ownership in sufficient upstream vehicles to control information release on the JV.Assisted in DCF model creation for a Singaporean port company, creating a valuation based on assumptions of future earnings, tax, debt repayment schedules etc. that was later used in a ‘football field’ valuation. Assessed Chinese state owned enterprises in the financial sector such as CIC (sovereign wealth fund), CITIC (commercial bank), NSSF (social security fund) and their viability to invest in an infrastructure fund client of HSBC. Analysed the size of their AUM and what information was available on the general size and asset class of investments to assess their viability to invest.
