• Noticed issue with gaping between truck air fairing and cab. Performed tolerance stack analysis, reviewed GD&T, manufacturing and quality instructions in order to root cause issue of gaping. Discovered GD&T error on released drawing. Made suggestions on how to fix issue with air fairing.• Issue arose with material yielding in soft joint during installation of aerodynamic panels. Performed back-of-the-napkin calculation to provide team with estimate recommended torque load prior to physical testing. Results from physical testing were within 8% error of hand estimate. Programmed Excel macros using Visual Basic to automate above calculation. Excel program was shared with engineering department for future design installation estimates

- Designed lidar camera mount for robotic capture system using Creo and installed onto client capture hardware. Tested camera using MATLAB to assist Restore-L with development of vision system.- Built 80/20 fixture and designed tool fittings to test and define capture system requirements for orientation of a satellite marman ring relative to capture hardware.

-Developed FEA simulation with Abaqus to characterize a component made of fiber filled polymer material. Results helped team identify discrepancy in material used to mold component and saved hours of design changes. - Developed test procedure, designed fixtures, and executed physical component stress testing to characterize component for use in future simulations. -Created parametric models of anvil pockets using NX surface to assist team with testing and manufacturing of device.-Designed and conducted Gage R&R study using Minitab to model closure force of medical device.

-Soldering: attached electrical components to circuit boards, wired battery boxes and LEDs.-Assembly: mounted mechanical components to time code slates, packed wires, and finalized product assembly for packing.-Quality Control: tested time code slates for errors, ensured component functionality, and observed slates for reliability.-Troubleshooting: resolved issues with returned slates such as blown battery boxes and corroded components.

-Designed an RAH 3D logo using CATIA for company competition that was 3D printed as top design.-Practiced CATIA V5 training manuals for surface design, NC manufacturing, and part design.-Imported step files from SolidWorks into Catia to make drawings.
