I was hired to create the Sugar Hollow Solar Service Department. I Managed of all aspects of the service department, encompassing all renewable energy systems: including but not limited to photovoltaic systems of all sizes and types, solar hot water, radiant floors, solar pool heating, micro hydroelectric, wind systems and passive building design. This required daily intake of customer calls; fielding and troubleshooting technical problems; system design, equipment procurement, and installation; sales; permitting and inspection; technician training/management; development of OSHA safety protocols; and maintaining current and emerging technical knowledge. It also required me to by point person for customer service calls and to resolve the technical problems that our technicians, or other companies, had failed to solve.
