Involvement in Avionics-troubleshooting and support for Aircraft Avionics Technicians. Possessing technical skills and expertise in various operational, functional tests and repairs of avionics aircraft equipment. Testing and troubleshooting aircraft systems to ensure minimum schedule impact. Providing direct training on various Avionics equipment and systems to personnel to support company cross-training goals and Transport Canada.  Oversee functional testing and repair of electro-avionic components as per Engineering and Manufacturer's Maintenance Manuals specifications and Engineering drawings. Supervising the annual calibration procedures of laboratory and floor test equipment and reporting results to the Chef Inspector.  Demonstrating other daily skills and knowledge required to effectively and efficiently repair or replace defective components including, work order opening, ordering of parts through traceability process and closing work orders. Scheduling Avionics related maintenance work within the maintenance time frame. Demonstrating through diligent compliance, the importance of daily logs and other paperwork's. Having the ability to read basic blueprints and schematic diagrams. Enforcing the company FOD (6-Sigma program) and safety regulations. Self Inspection of company (CAMP), calibration program and all avionics testing functions in applicable areas. Performing other duties as assigned.
