Patrols assigned MERC facility on foot, at times walking, at times running; checks in at computer watch clock stations at appointed times.• Investigates suspicious persons or activities.• Answers questions and provides information to the public; investigates complaints and recommends corrective action as necessary to resolve complaints.• Assists medical personnel by directing traffic, crowd control and securing needed equipment.• Checks facilities and equipment for needed maintenance and repairs; turns lights and alarms on and off.• Maintains time, equipment use and incident records.• Maintains radio communications with supervisors and other security agents.• Monitors the entry and departure of persons at the stage door.• Monitors fire alarms and determines validity; monitors closed circuit television (CCTV), and building access system, and calls for help; assists in the evacuation of patrons and employees in emergencies; provides medical assistance.• Apprehends, detains and arrests persons who violate local, state and federal laws.• Performs other related duties as assigned.
