 Act as primary point of contact for afterschool programming at the site; maintains dailycommunication with Central Office POC, providing updates and reporting any issues/concerns. Collect student attendance on a daily basis and provides documentation to Central Office POC. Manage student transitions during afterschool programming. Maintain daily communication with parents at the site. Ensure the daily implementation of Academic Power Hour (APH) and enrichment. Support Central Office POC with student and staff recruitment efforts. Attend OSTP trainings. Daily enforcement of the pick-up policy and remains at assigned site until all students are picked up. Provide instruction that reflects multiple perspectives and multicultural education; incorporatestechnology into curriculum. Assist the administration in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct. Develop reasonable rules for classroom behaviors and procedures; maintains order in the classroomin a fair and just manner. Establish relationships with colleagues, students, parents, and community that reflect recognitionof and respect for every individual. Encourage youth voice in the development of program activities.

Develop and implement lesson plans focused on reading and dramatic plays for a class of 22 preschoolers. Additionally with the help of my co-teacher, I organize enrichment activities that stimulate growth in language, social and motor skills of my students. I had the opportunity to help the Posse DC staff with the second part of the Dynamic Assessment Process, which is a three-part interview method to select scholarship recipients. I interviewed several scholarship candidates and recorded details notes.

I tracked and analyze my students' data to identify and prioritize students needs during coaching and tutoring sessions.
