I am an HR Rep that is passionate about solving problems for the people he serves, both the Management and Employees. My areas of expertise are:Employee Relations - this is why I got into Human Resources. I enjoy helping people solve problems and find resources. Whether that be answers to questions about retirement preparation, adding a new child to insurance, or dealing with a co-worker who is creating a hostile work environment.Labor Relations- We are a Unionized workplace and I really enjoy working with Management to address the issues proposed by the Union and collaborating with the Union to make the prison-environment safer for staff.Recruitment and Staffing- These areas are the bread and butter of HR. I enjoy meeting new people, explaining the benefits that come with working for our agency, and the challenge of trying to get them to come on-board.Law and Policy Research - as an HR Rep for the Federal government, everything we do is governed, not only by Agency policies, but also (and primarily) Federal law.

Responsible for hiring, training and professional development of staff, including management team. Also responsible for growing sales and profitability.
