Responsible for material certifications and related documentation for the purchase, processing and sale of specialty metals for the U.S. Navy and Navy suppliers. Performed delegated source inspections of Level-1 and non Level-1 materials for Navy submarines and surface ships. Presented documents and material for on-site government and customer source inspection. Reviewed sub contract purchase orders for material retests such as tensile, chemical, Charpy impact and NDT (Non Destructive Testing) such as Ultrasonic Testing and Alloy Identification. Also reviewed customer RFQs (Request For Quote) and purchase orders.

Performed first piece, in process and final inspections on flight safety parts for the following aircraft: AH-64, CH-47 and CH-46. Other flight safety parts inspected include: AH-64 tail rotors and arrestor hooks for FA-18, F-14 and S-3. Also responsible for receiving inspection of components such as: feather bearings, trunnion dampers, strap pack assemblies, swash plate studs and other aerospace fasteners. Verified conformance and traceability of sub-process certifications and other documentation for customer source inspections.

Responsibilities included first piece, in process and final inspection of springs, wire forms and stampings. Also inspected surgical devices such as: guide wire assemblies, endoscopic snares, clipping devices and others. Calibrated and maintained records for measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
