Tom is a public speaker, trainer, storyteller, and writer. He specializes in Self-knowledge, Storytelling - and in Storytelling Teaching.Known as the "Prince of Storytellers" one organization has invited him back no fewer than fifteen times in twenty years. His audiences have included Master Mariners, Australian Navigators Association and the Merchant Navy Association. He's also addressed The Legatees, an Australian Army Battalion of WW2 Diggers, Probus, National Seniors and all manner of service clubs such as Rotary, Lions, etc. With nearly a thousand presentations behind him, since 1982, he is a proven performer.Tom's Self-knowledge and Self-understanding stems from his fifty years of first-hand experience in Automatic Writing, and thirty-seven years of Vipassana Meditation Practice. He has written several books on these topics.In March 2023, Tom started placing videos on Retirement on YouTube. By end of June 2024, he gained over 530,00 views, hundreds of thousands of like, thousand of comments, and picked up 5,400 subscribers. At this time, Tom has been "retired" for 29 years! Tom was born in London, U.K, on 1936 and migrated to Australian with his family in 1951. Tom has been a sailor, an air-ground aviation radio-operator, and a police radio operator.He has also been a foundry laborer, truck driver, laboratory assistant, clerk and even an Antarctic Expeditioner. Tom was a state finalist with Rostrum of Australia in 1980 and grand finalist with the City of Sydney's "Festival of Sydney" in 1982. Since that time he has given hundreds of speeches and presented scores of seminars both at his former places of work and to interested groups. Moreover, he has successfully taught others to do the same. During the past forty years he has given over 900 presentations and addressed 49,000 people and the invitations continue to roll in.
