Process waste water into reactor quality water using various equipment such as filters, demineralizers, and a concentrator. · Combat plant transients utilizing systems training and experience. Report to the control room the status of equipment in the field allowing informed decisions to be made regarding the safety and stability of the plant. · Operated the plant for over 2.5 years with no major errors such as configuration control events that could lead to plant transients, damage equipment, or put the safety of others at risk. · Qualified OJT(On the Job Training) to train new operators in safe and error free operation. Selected by management to train new NLOs in the approximately 300 tasks and other aspects of the job mandatory for independent operation of the plant. · Completed mandatory one-year training program for job (Reactor Fundamentals, Systems, and OJT).

· Designed magnetrons for various applications utilizing Solid Works and HFSS . Studied the effects that different pulse lengths, strengths, and frequencies had on the thermal characteristics of magnetron fins and their ability to stay cooled using the thermal analysis portion of Solid Works. · Conducted a study to examine the effects that using different sizes and types of grit during sandblasting had on magnetron performance and failure rates. Examined various internal sections of magnetrons that had been blasted with different grit using the Penn State Electron Microscope and observed the resulting metal surfaces
