- Management of the hospital’s month end process and adhering to SOX guidelines - Review with managers the interpretation of financial information – providing training and support when needed- Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations – Assets, Liabilities and Fixed Assets- Working with internal managers, finance business partners, and suppliers in ensuring aged balances are dealt with on a timely basis- Monitoring compliance in line with policies and procedures- Assisting internal and external auditors - Assisting the CFO & FC in the control of capital expenditure- Assisting in the preparation of capital requests, and checking they fall within capitalisation guidelines - Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets- Assisting tax team with preparatory requirements for PSA VAT return - Provision of assistance to the AFC/FC/CFO with ad-hoc projects/tasks

Responsible with working closely with Entertaining & Hospitality Business Managers to ensure they maintain sound P&Ls whilst providing unique guest experiences that are synonymous with the Goodwood Brand. I am responsible for producing and presenting the P&Ls for the Kennels, Hound Lodge, Goodwood House, Motor Circuit Catering & CuratorialI also maintain various balance sheets. I deal with Ad Hoc queries on behalf of E&H Business Managers and their teams, as well as general ledger queries.

Maintain accurate purchase & sales ledgers for the Goodwood Club Ltd & Racecourse Ltd while ensuring processing deadlines are met. Reconciliations of various control accounts. Daily up date of Cash Balances.Processing ad hoc and/or foreign payments.Maintaining accurate records of company vehicles. Issuing quick and appropriate responses to internal&external customer queries.Carry out VAT checks before VAT returns are processed. Continually communicate key processes and updates to staff thereof maintaining and improving process efficiencies.
