After completing my degree in mechanical engineering, I started my career taking different roles in the maritime industry, obtaining valuable shipyard hands-on experience.In 2003 I joined Cochin Shipyard Ltd Shipbuilding and Ship Repair company as an Executive trainee in Design Department (Machinery and Piping Section). During that period in the Design section, I handled 3D modeling and detailed engineering of 9 tugs and 6 bulk carriers. During 2005-2006, worked in the production department as a team leader where I handled the installation and commissioning of propulsion machinery, DG sets, and all major auxiliaries to the requirements of the class and owner also involved in the piping and structural outfit works in the Engine room zone. Also, in charge of the successful conduct and completion of Engine room Tests and Trials during the Sea Trials of 2 Vessels in the series.Since 2007, I have been working in the Design department, during this period I have had the opportunity to involve in concept, basic design,3D modeling, and detailed engineering of the following vessels.
