I am part of Fidelity Asset Management IT Architecture team. My responsibilities are to define and design solutions for Investment Compliance business division. I will work with multiple stakeholders in business and technology to define technology strategy and roadmap for our product lines.

* I work as a principal architect (Individual Contributor/Leader) for the Stock Plan Services business unit. I am in-charge of the end to end solution of our current state and future solutions primarily focused on all the distributed systems plus the integration with mainframe systems. * I come up with technical road-map and vision for the problem we are trying to solve. I mentor my team technically on a daily basis, attend meetings with cross functional business and technology teams, identify gaps and breakdown any roadblocks with current execution, make POCs happen, introduce newer technologies, instill best practices for my team and across functions. * I interview candidates ranging from data/ETL architects, principal and senior engineers. * I keep updated on the latest and greatest technologies that are out there and introduce them into the solutions we build.* I enjoy team building activities.

In this capacity, I will be focusing on the security aspects of the product. This would involve but not be limited to -- * Performing general code analysis and review to ensure code quality and security.* Scope, design and implement multi-layered security to detect, stop and prevent any vulnerabilities in the product using guidelines and recommendations from well established security projects.* Working and meeting with other internal teams in the company to ensure our efforts are geared towards product security.* Attend security related meetings.* etc, etc, etc..

Self-driven and actively playing the role of an Independent Contributor/Principal Architect for Elster's Energy Axis EA_MS system. Working on a variety of cutting edge front-end technologies as well as focused on back-end re-architecture work of existing systems keeping in mind stability, scalability, performance, optimal memory and improved user response times for web application requests. I am introducing advanced caching techniques into the product to take it to a "higher level". I am also actively working on profiling (CPU and memory) the application and doing scalability/performance benchmark tests with the help of dedicated QA engineers.
