Testing of Nokia Mobile Handsets(Pre -Launch Testing)

Profile: Mobile device and Firmware testing Responsible for testing a variety of Nokia handsets (GSM/UMTS) for the features supported with the R&D software, across different states.Performing UI Tests, Stress Tests, Performance Tests, and Compatibility Tests, Mobility tests, Stationary tests and Roaming Tests [IREG & TADIG test].Upgrading the software of the handset using Phoenix, Flash tool etc. Executing test cases and reporting the tests results to program responsible for Software Quality Assurance & Testing.Testing handset features such as SMS flow, MMS flow, DRM, Connectivity, Browser, Multimedia, Streaming, and Email etc in uncontrolled real environment.Analyzing & verifying call process with regard to 3GPP/3GPP2 specifications in GSM/UMTS handsets.Identifying errors and capturing associated logs using Fast trace, Mobile Analyser & Ethereal (PCAP logs).Reporting errors in the error databases of Nokia and preparing meticulous summary reports after the complete course of testing.Checking the inter-operability of the mobile handsets across different the cellular networks.Executing terminal test cases against the cellular network to support product acceptance activities.
