Throughout my studies, I have learnt how to exploit malicious codes onto software, understand how these codes work, execute relevant programs that enable these codes to be exploited as well as how to detect and deter them. I have done some Data Analytics and Machine Learning in my course.I joined Lumen Technologies in August 2022 and have had various opportunities to learn and grow in the cyber security SOC aspect. My daily tasks include various state-of-the-art cyber detection tools and use them to detect, analyze and triage security incidents that occur in the environments that I monitor. I also perform threat hunting on suspicious activities or on IOC’s that could pose a threat to my clients.Listed below are some of the tools that I utilize on a day-to-day basis to detect and protect the security environments I am tasked to take care of. My analysis and investigation are based upon the MITRE attack matrix.
