Of my many passions, the greatest is for ideas that help people thrive: to enjoy happier, more meaningful and financially secure lives. It is the common theme linking my diverse career as an academic, an entrepreneur, personal financial adviser, public speaker, strategy adviser to some of the world’s largest firms and an author. My latest book, 'How Much is Enough?' draws on the latest behavioural research to explore the relationship between money and happiness. It has been published in various countries and languages and described by UCLA’s Professor Shlomo Benartzi as a book “that will change your life balance, not just your bank balance”.My interests in philanthropy focus on poverty alleviation through micro-finance and education as well supporting medical research and the performing arts.In 2013 I was honoured to be inducted into The Australian National University’s College of Business and Economics' Hall of Fame for meeting its criteria of “Exemplary professional achievement and distinguished contribution to community".
