Key Result Areas:>Responsible for managing and facilitating the Proposal engineering process from No-Bid/Bid decisions through the various Team reviews.>Identify more cost-effective alternatives> Analyzing the base estimates technically & commercially, with respect to the tender documents and discussing appropriate cost book, profit margins, proposed work method, risk assessments, cash flow analysis with the Profit Center Manager and ensuring most competitive offers, considering the market situation.> Assess subcontractor proposals for scope coverage and manage risks associated with scope gaps> Lead the follow-up of tender submissions and provide negotiation tender, contract terms & conditions and support up to contract award.> Optimize revenue streams by networking for additional business prospects with established clients.> Building up and maintaining business relationships with end customers, contractors, consultants, OEM.> Identify, coordinate, and participate in client relationship-building activities and meetings.> Perform contract review with commercial department & internal Approvals> On award of contract, prepare the costing Top sheet and hand it over to the Project Managers all relevant details.> Performing lost proposal analysis, identifying potential cause, and recommending future actions> Cultivate relationships with key players to create beneficial referral systems.> Conducting extensive visits to client locations; participating in technical meetings to discuss on the tender/bid/proposal/project deviations and align to provide a solution of full product or systems or services offering.> Modifying and updating the estimation inputs in accordance with the technical discussions/meetings with clients after post-bid.> Offering technical advice and provides comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers with regard to products/systems/ applications.
