Client: IBM Aus, IBM US and IBM Canada with 3000+ servers.Responsibility: Creation, Deletion and maintenance of huge amount of users every three months. Installation, Configuration and maintenance of Symantec Antivirus servers. Patched the servers every month as advised by the IBM advisories. Monitored the status of the backups and troubleshooting them if failed. Troubleshooting problems related to windows products and OS. Scheduled Maintenance on OS once in every 6 months. TCP/IP Vulnerabilities were done to check if any unwanted ports are opened and to check if any vulnerabilities exist in the Third part products and windows products and remediate them. Monitored space in drives of the servers and clearing them accordingly using IBM director. Upgrade and Maintain OS Versions. Automated many SysAdmin Works using WMI and VBscript.Automation Works(using Vbscript and WMI): MBSA reader - Makes a report out of MBSA 1.2 output files (text files) which is directly used for analyzing the patches that are required for the specified server. Patch Copying - Copies the Patches that is required to be installed to the servers depending on the Os type. Renaming files - All the TCP/IP html report will be renamed according to the OS name present inside the report. Create nested Folders - Creating set of nested folders in few servers. Get Folder Size - Produces report on the drive giving the size of each folders present inside.
