Key Roles & Responsibilities:* Reading Tender document to understand the scope, drawings, specifications, time schedule and commercial terms & conditions, preparation of project synopsis, rough estimate to enable management to decide whether to bid or not.*Making site visit to get acquainted with site conditions, constraints.*Preparation of technical & commercial pre-bid queries and attending pre-bid meeting.*Floating inquiries for subcontract items such as Painting, Insulation, Fire proofing, Chemical cleaning, Loading of catalyst, Installation of trays and internals.*Making comparative statements & selection of supplier & subcontractor to be considered for estimation purpose.*Estimation of labor, consumables.*Estimation of site on cost (soc) such as Indirect manpower, Joining expenses, Temporary facilities like office, store, dark room, labor colony etc., Power charges, Water facility, Tools & tackles , Site transport, Office running, Head office visits, Statutory approvals l, Site clearance, Safety provisions like PPE.*Estimation of financial charges such as ABG, PBG etc.*Deciding on taxes & duties in consultation with finance department.*Making provision for contingency and loading of OHP.*Preparation of documents required to be submitted along with Un-priced bid such as Mobilization Plan of Manpower & Construction Equipments, Exceptions and Deviations, Area requirement for temporary facilities, Power requirement, Execution methodology/philosophy and Site Organization chart.*Attending Techno-commercial bid opening.*Attending techno-commercial meetings with client/owner.*Submission of Revised offer/Price implication if any.*Attending priced bid opening.*Finalization of contract.*Preparation of budget/target cost.*Handing over contract agreements, target cost to project department.*Assisting project department while finalizing subcontracts if required or instructed by management.*Assisting project department in settling extra claims if any.

Job responsibilities:• Responsible for Tender Documents reading and short out Term and Condition of client or owner.• List out the heaviest and largest equipments, structures etc. for deciding Cranes, tools & tackles required for Erection and Fabrication.• To do site visit which project have to quote for knowing site conditions and labour rates etc.• To make proposed Schedule Bar chart of different activities at site.• To find out Manpower Strength Direct and Indirect Workers for Site.• To make manpower Deployment plan as per site requirement.• To make Tools and Tackles Deployment plan.• To make Documentation – Techno-commercial Documents as per requirement of client• To make Techno-commercial offer.• Finally to calculate total Project Cost according to terms and conditions of client.
