While attending Marquette University I developed a passion for research and writing, which evolved into my personal belief that the ability to read and write are vital transformational life skills. Upon graduating I decided to move to Thailand and become an ESOL teacher.I am currently an intern with XploreAsia, an internationally accredited education company that provides individuals with the opportunity to teach, volunteer, and travel throughout Southeastern Asia. In my spare time I am an ESOL substitute teacher to Thai students of all ages and proficiencies, and teach advanced communicative English online to students living in South Korea. Besides teaching I feel fulfilled when speaking other languages, eating new food, and building relationships within an international community.
