-For one year I lived and attended courses with other first year undergraduate students focusing on fostering knowledge and appreciation of cultural, ethnic, and religious differences. -Marquette University's CommUNITY Living Program seeks to increase awareness of social justice issues while honing leadership, interpersonal communication, and problem sensitivity skills.-This complex and unique living and learning environment offered me the opportunity to work over a long period of time on personal as well as academic challenges with other students.
