I support two multi-disciplinary teams with translating ideas and goals into objective value. I focus less on pure facilitation of the team, and more on communication, team dynamics and making sustainable progress. I'm direct, honest and critical, sometimes forcing teams to acknowledge elephants in the room and actively decide on how they'll overcome said elephant.

What do I do? I make sure that the user receives the guidance they need to use the software. Not only with the standard manuals, but also with making sure the text in the software is clear, consistent and self-explanatory. I also work on promoting feature adoption. If users don't know a feature exists, they won't need help in using it. I promote features by detailing the added value of features, and in turn make sure users get the most out of said features.

Worked in the Projects and Innovation team of the Digital Services department of the university library carrying out research concerning the appraisal of emails and word processor documents for born-digital academic archives and the need for libraries to realize the importance and risks of born-digital documents to ensure preservation. The internship resulted in a specified report for the library that looked at several aspects of preserving emails and word processor documents and what the library should focus on.
