During my twenty-month tenure with the Disaster Emergency Committee, I played a key role in visually documenting the entire spectrum of the flood crisis, from the initial phase to the rehabilitation of victims. Additionally, I actively participated in diverse campaigns, including the DEC's Truck Art initiative, employing my videography skills to convey impactful stories assigned by the organizations."

I directed a show on digital election campaigns for the Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT). The project aimed to provide insights into the evolving landscape of political campaigning in the digital age. Additionally, I executed four flawless episodes of "Awami Mukalma" by PILDAT, featuring panelists discussing the topic of "Enhanced Information Radar." The show delved into critical challenges arising from misinformation and disinformation and provided strategies to identify and counter them effectively. Through engaging discussions and expert analysis, the episodes aimed to raise awareness about the importance of information integrity in shaping public discourse and ensuring informed decision-making during elections.

In collaboration with Google, I led and directed a corporate video showcasing the success story of a startup company within Pakistan's thriving Gaming and Apps Industry. The focus was on Hazel Mobile, which originated from Lahore and has since achieved global recognition. From its modest inception with just five dedicated developers, Hazel Mobile has expanded significantly, now boasting a workforce of over 200 employees. Through the implementation of Google's AAA growth model, the company has achieved remarkable success, amassing over 2 billion downloads worldwide for its games and apps. The corporate video served to highlight Hazel Mobile's journey, demonstrating how strategic partnerships and innovative approaches can drive substantial growth and influence within the digital marketplace.

Beyond capturing videos, I played a crucial role in extensively documenting case studies of flood victims assigned to me by ACF. This hands-on involvement aimed at shedding light on the human impact and contributing to the collective efforts in response to the crisis.

In collaboration with Save the Children, I spearheaded a project focused on documenting the organisation's interventions and the impact on beneficiaries following the 2022 devastating floods. Through extensive video footage and content gathering, the project highlighted Save the Children's efforts in reaching 133,741 children and families across various critical sectors including food security, education, health, nutrition, water, sanitation, and hygiene. Specifically, in Sindh province, Save the Children's ongoing support to affected families through initiatives such as cash distribution, health and nutrition treatment, and livelihood recovery programs was emphasised. Through compelling storytelling, the project aimed to raise awareness of the challenges faced by flood-affected communities and the importance of humanitarian aid in facilitating recovery and resilience-building efforts.

In 2021, I undertook a significant project in collaboration with Num Films for Martin Dow Pakistan, focusing on their pre-diabetes campaign titled "Rakho Apna Khayal." As part of this campaign, I shot and produced 10 profile videos featuring individuals from diverse backgrounds, each sharing their journey towards a healthier lifestyle. These videos showcased various success stories of individuals who experienced significant changes in their lives by adopting healthier routines. By highlighting personal transformations and emphasising the importance of proactive health management, the campaign aimed to raise awareness about pre-diabetes and encourage viewers to prioritise their well-being. Through compelling storytelling and inspirational narratives, the videos served as powerful tools for promoting health awareness and motivating positive lifestyle changes within the community.

In my role as director and cinematographer, I had the privilege to create a corporate video for Bonanza Satrangi, showcasing their remarkable journey from the 90s to the present day. The video traced the evolution of the brand, highlighting its growth and transformation into a household name in Pakistan. With a focus on authenticity and visual storytelling, we captured footage from Bonanza Satrangi's flagship stores in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, providing viewers with an immersive look into the brand's retail experience. By showcasing the brand's expansion to over 52 stores nationwide, the video underscored Bonanza Satrangi's commitment to delivering quality fashion to customers across Pakistan. Through compelling visuals and narrative, the corporate video celebrated the brand's achievements while emphasising its enduring legacy in the fashion industry.

I took on the role of director and cinematographer to create a corporate video for Transworld Pakistan, collaboration with "Num Films" leading production house in Pakistan, highlighting their extensive network that spans across the entire country and connects seamlessly with the global world. This project involved showcasing the company's reach and impact through visual storytelling, emphasizing its significant role in the broader business landscape.

In 2021, Goreela Films provided me with an opportunity to direct an Eid-related skit video for the leading textile brand, Ideas by Gul Ahmed. The project featured renowned hosts Anoushay Sharaf and Dino Ali, adding star power to the production. Through creative storytelling and engaging performances, the skit video aimed to capture the essence of Eid celebrations while showcasing the brand's products and values. This collaboration highlighted the synergy between entertainment and marketing, leveraging the influence of popular personalities to enhance brand visibility and engagement during the festive season.

In 2018, a documentary project directed and led by me shed light on the transformative impact of Better Cotton training in the remote district of Muzaffargarh, located in Pakistan's Punjab province. Through intimate storytelling, the documentary captured the lives of smallholder cotton farmers like Jam Muhammad Saleem, who initially relied on traditional farming methods and child labor to sustain their livelihoods. However, after participating in Better Cotton training, Saleem's perspective shifted dramatically. He realized the importance of education and made the courageous decision to prioritize his children's schooling over child labor. The documentary showcased how initiatives like Better Cotton not only improve farming practices but also empower communities to break the cycle of poverty by investing in education and creating a brighter future for the next generation.
