Managed bipartisan Committee Higher Education Act reauthorization process, including scheduling and staffing the Chairman for hearings. Negotiated and drafted bill language, interacting with stakeholders, and negotiating federal budget priorities with House and Senate Budget Committee staff and Administration. Staffed the Senator on major education policy initiatives and program reauthorizations in the 107th through 109th Congresses.
