As a Senior Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), I am committed to advancing the frontiers of quantum technologies, with a recent focus on quantum transduction, parametric coupling, and amplification. My extensive background spans RF electronics, microwave engineering, and analog circuit design, all of which are vital components in the development of next-generation quantum computing circuits and devices.In my previous role as Team Leader of the Electronics Core Facility at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), I worked at the intersection of diverse research disciplines, supporting complex experiments ranging from quantum devices to low-temperature electronics. There, I refined my expertise in tools like ANSYS HFSS and Keysight ADS, contributing to a wide array of pioneering research projects.Holding a Ph.D. in Microelectronics from Kyoto University and an M.Eng. from UEC Tokyo, I specialize in quantum computing, superconducting devices, microwave electronics, cryogenic systems, and micro/nanofabrication.
