RPPL is a 450 MW Combined Cycle Powerplant operating primarily on RLNG, connected to the500kV National Grid of Pakistan. 2 units of Siemens V94.2 Gas Turbine, each of capacity 150MWand 1 unit of a double cylinder Steam Turbine having a capacity of 150MW are in service. TheSteam for ST is provided by 2 units of HRSGs, each with a capacity of 222 T/Hr. Majorresponsibilities are:- Actively involved in daily maintenance activities and compiling a daily report about it.- Helped Maintenance Engineer in preparing a Preventive Maintenance plan on monthly basis.- Performed Preventive Maintenance of different Mechanical components like pumps, valves,couplings, blowers, Gears and Shafts, etc.- Involved in the Condition Monitoring of different machinery like vibration analysis of rotatingmachines and shafts.- Involved in making the reports of monthly and annual maintenance activities performed.- Followed the corrective maintenance activities of different mechanical components likepumps, valves, Compressors and Couplings etc.- Assisted in preparing schedule for Preventive Maintenance and Overhauling of the PlantEquipments.- Understanding of different Non-Destructive testing techniques like Eddy Current Testing,Borescopic Inspection, Visual Inspection, Dye-Penetrant Test and Magnetic Particle Inspection.- Involved with the Mechanical Maintenance team in Troubleshooting of different machinery inthe Plant.- Involved in FCO with Siemens Team in the Inspection of GT blades and Combustion Chamber.- Assisted Maintenance Engineer in Outage Planning and Shutdown activities.- Preparing Annual Budget Plan for the Equipments and Tools required for MechanicalMaintenance Department with Maintenance Engineer.
