Hi there scroller 😊 I’m a senior content strategist and copywriter based in Melbourne, with a background in journalism and public relations. Thinking strategically is at the heart of what I do, and my career’s taken me in-house and agency-side from one side of the world to the other. Within digital content, I’ve managed and collaborated on complex site migrations, website transformations and web uplifts. I’ve restructured page layouts using UX and design principles, and rewritten content to suit brand tone, audience, and SEO best practice. I’m equally happy leading content development teams for large-scale projects, or harnessing my digital skills to work solo on smaller initiatives. Plus, I’m no stranger to printed content, having written articles, brochures, reports, newsletters, NFP appeals, and scripts.I’ve worked with a range of clients and employers including ANZ, Bank of Melbourne, Bendigo Bank, Cancer Council Victoria, Cleanaway, Deakin University, Private Media, Save the Children, St Vincent’s Hospital, and Victoria University - as well as agencies like AKQA, Brightlabs, Cyclone, Trout and Tundra. As a journalist I’ve written for major publications in Australia and overseas, with a focus on investigative feature-length reporting on social and healthcare issues. And from my PR days I’ve worked with Prime Ministers in Australia and the UK, members of the royal family and various celebrities. I really enjoy the work I do, from analysis and problem solving, to communication and copywriting. I’m motivated by best practice, and a strong sense of purpose professionally – I love a challenge and bring an upbeat, calm and ‘can do’ attitude to any project.
