My last role at ANZ was a lead Business Analyst working on a confidential strategic BS11 outsourcing project. Previous projects include:Project Business Analyst working with ANZ in Australia, Singapore, India and New Zealand to document the current and future state processes to re-platform an ANZ SWIFT vendor provided solution to a solution developed in house. Business Analyst for the migration of SWIFT MT101 payment for high value and international transactions in Australia and New Zealand from one vendor platform to another platform with ANZ. Compliance Lead Business Analysis on the RBNZ Section 95 review of the ANZ New Zealand Director's Attestation and Assurance Framework review. Which involves working with NZ Leadership Team members, NZ Operational Risk & Compliance, Talent & Culture and senior stakeholders to review and uplift existing Conditions of Registration and Integrated Assurance frameworks. This information is provided to the appointed external auditor for review and status reporting to the RBNZ and ANZ NZ Board.Insurance product divestment of ANZ staff, systems, customer data and procedures to a third party insurance provider. Which involved writing joint procedure manual for ANZ, contract management and vendor staff to follow for staff on and off-boarding, mandatory learning and day to day operational tasks. Other tasks included the remediation of business critical reporting from data sourced from the vendor, which included the technical requirements for the record layouts, new interfaces and staging tables.

My role was to implement customised version of a vendor provided solution for Air New Zealand Pilots and Cabin Crew groups to allow them to bid for rostered days off and tours of duty. This involved negotiating with union representatives and crew, and working with the vendor in Sweden and Canada.

Data migration BA employed to capture the high level and detailed requirements for IAG NZ and the vendor to use in the design phase of the project. IAG NZ is in the process of several large scale strategic programmes to move their personal and commercial customers and product lines onto vendor supplied IT solutions. State has a strategic partnership with a vendor that has already provided a solution for AMI. Responsibilities include:• Creating a business analysis plan for the data migration domain business analysts• Working with the Project Manager to define the scope and out of scope items for the data migration domain• Travelling to Wellington, Christchurch and Sydney for meetings with the stakeholders, architects, other domain project manager and business analysts, and subject matter experts to establish a working relationship and domain boundaries for the data migration domain• Conducting workshops with the stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit the future state requirements• Gap analysis from the workshops against the other business analysts high level requirements and to present the gaps back to the programme team• Working with the architects and transition domain team to review the solution concept architecture documents that impact data migration• Creating the data migration high level requirements based on the workshops and gap analysis• Presenting the high level requirement documents for peer review, subject matter review and then stakeholder review pending approval

Real Time Offer Management leverages ANZ customer data to create real time targeted product and service offers to individual customers based on contextual information such as customer actions or enquiries. The core objective of project was to provide a consistent credit decisioning operational model for all ANZ wholesale customers that fall under the Judgmental Credit Policy. Contract Business Analyst on the ANZ Bank New Zealand Ltd Simplification program. The projectmigrated existing ANZ and National Bank customers, business processes and data onto one platform. I was assigned a number of non-core satellite systems to confirm the existing business requirements and update or create the business requirement documentation. In addition I was the back up to the manager on the Third Parties work steam, working on several thirdparty and service provider systems, which included the Money Transfer System (MTS) and Transactional Routing (TR’s) systems during the dress rehearsals and implementation. Acting as a Business Advisor / Senior Business Analyst to assist with the ACC Insurance Prevention Services Change Program. The Change Program was a strategic business plan to reorganise the Insurance Prevention Services division ready for New Zealand Government & Department of Labour policy changes. The business plan was to restructure departments, prepare for the introduction of future policy, improve or design new business processes and replace the underlying IT platforms. As a Business Advisor my subject matter knowledge of ACC was to review the high level strategy and work with contract BA’s to validate the strategy and raise concerns to project managers and sponsors.
