My Multi Phase career path has given me the opportunity to work with many exotic and native animals and birds. My background as a bird Breeder, zoo keeper, captive animals and experience in wildlife rescue coupled with interest in how animals live and interact within their environment in the wild has developed my skill set in improving the lives of and solving problems with captive animal with their environments, behaviours and nutrition.Many years helping aviary exhibitors, pet owners and breeders with a plethora of weird and wonderful problems has given myself an ability to think both in and outside the “box”.My motivation to raise the bar in the animal industry to achieve excellent and better animal welfare outcomes, nutrition and behavioural enrichment. This is always a win all round as relaxed, happy healthy animals display behaviours that are better to watch in a finite environment. I have extensive experience with a broad range of animals, especially birds.While looking after animals I believe it’s also important to look after our selves. I believe a happy team that foster a culture of knowledge exchange make it possible to maintain outstanding welfare of the animals in their care.Attracting the best persons for the roles by creating a working atmosphere that encourages enthusiasm, personal growth and dedication.
