I was employed as the Production Leading Hand, a part of the Blending management team at Dairy Goat Co-operative (DGC) in Hamilton, where I worked for nearly 10 years.Dairy Goat Co-operative is a goat based nutritional infant formula manufacturing facility.My main duties and responsibilities involved documentation control of plant procedures (SOP’s) and Training Assessments, providing training to the production staff and up keeping of the Training Matrix on SharePoint. I was also in charge of overseeing all “Permit to Work” operations at the Blending plant, where I was interacting with external contractors and liaising with the Technical Services team to organise project and maintenance related tasks.I was also involved in team RCA’s (Root Cause Analysis), Project planning, Health and Safety and various other meetings that aimed to improve plant efficiency, product quality and safety.Prior to working in the management team, I was an “on the line” Team Leader where I was in-charge of all shift operation inside of the Blending plant at Dairy Goat Co-operative. In July of 2021 I relocated to Auckland to be closer to family and friends.I am currently working at Synlait Milk Limited - Auckland.
