I'm Ashley, a 21 year old student at Canterbury Christ Church University. In year one, I studied accounting and finance, which was my strongest topic and I enjoyed, followed by contemporary business issues, marketing principles and practice, economics, people management and business analysis. Year two has allowed me to learn about business sustainability, digital business, project management and human resource management as well as expanding my work based learning and management and leadership skills. I have experience of working in a kitchen as a kitchen porter at a busy hotel in Melton Mowbray and a smaller pub nearby. This has allowed me to develop my interpersonal skills, and learn to work in a team, as well as aiding my time management- especially during busy periods. I enjoy working as part of the team and socialising.Grade wise, I managed to make DDD at sixth form with some disappointing results in some tough times, however I’m now hoping for a 2:1 at university. I even somehow got a first in one of my first year modules (accounting and finance)
