Senior Education Designer
CurrentManage the OneTen initiative: Acts as a strategic intermediary amongst colleges, employers, talent, and community-based organizations to co-design equitable micro-pathways. Enhances current education-to-employment talent pipelines; ensuring that they are both responsive and sustainable.“I've seen a lot of different approaches during my time within the higher education space and within the 'education to employment' (workforce development) space. Both spaces have people who hope to right the respective wrongs of their industries - developing innovative solutions that meet the needs of the end user. From my vantage point, the future of education will involve strategically learning from/leveraging the strengths of these spaces (program design/delivery, mentorship, funding strategies, employer relations, etc.). Doing so would set the stage to sustainably scale the type of impact these entities hope to make - all while improving the time it would take to get there if they attempted to do it alone.”● Orchestrated a learning community of diverse stakeholders, driving the design of tangible employer solutions and optimizing workflows through human-centered design principles and change management strategies.● Initiated regional collaboratives amongst stakeholders and deployed design studios to operationalize the 'future state' of their ecosystem's talent pipeline for the placement of black talent in education & workforce contexts.
