❖ Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to manage the monthly financial close process for 66 lodging properties and to report financial performance results to the ownership and operations management. I was responsible to budget, plan, and coordinate all aspects of the construction process and also assisted in operational duties, as careful financial management is essential for planning projects that pencil out. I was also responsible to supervise projects from beginning to end, ensuring that they are completed within time and meet budgetary constraints. I also set up and analyse the project timetable for the company and develop the cost-benefit strategy to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.

I oversaw a 48 room hotel and a team of 9 employees. I was responsible for all aspects of the operation of the hotel, including improving financial performance, operational and financial controls, ensuring optimal guest satisfaction scores, and developing and retaining a strong management and associate team. Under my management, the hotel had an increase in the total revenue of 35.11% on average from June’10 to Dec’10 compared to 2009 revenue reports. It ranked #1 hotel for revenue increase in 2010 out of the company portfolio of 22 hotels. It also achieved $1.3 million in total revenue for the year of 2011, a 30% increase compared to 2010

ECO 205 (Money & Banking)- Assisted the professor on the lecture for a class of 70 sophomore and junior level undergraduate students.- Provided weekly consulting hours to students for discussing their problems and concerns within the class. - Assigned to create weekly quizzes based on lecture materials and current economic issues. - Kept track of students’ performance through constant grading and review on classroom assignments.

- Worked closely with the country head of distribution and strategy department to perform research and analysis on the current state of the Indian Mutual Funds Industry.- Set up the expense ratio allocation for various mutual fund schemes and monitored how much was being allocated to the distributor in basis points, so they can bargain for more profit margin.- Performed research on what the future of the Indian Mutual Funds Industry would be like, quoting researches done by KPMG, Mutual Funds India Summit 2009.
