We connect with and provide continual education, training, and resources to countries around the world including Nicaragua and Indonesia. Leveraging our network of first responders and medical professionals in Emergency Medical Services, Fire, Lifeguarding, and hospitals we are able to build a reliable and consistent support group of volunteers, donors, and organization leaders.

Working as an Ocean Lifeguard requires a variety of skills to keep the beaches safe and maintain a positive public perception. Growing up in Encinitas has allowed me to develop an immense knowledge about the ocean that I have used to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for my community as well as the millions of visitors that our beaches attract each year. In my four years working at the City of Encinitas I have rescued and prevented thousands of beachgoers from drowning. Additionally, I act as first responder for 10+ major medical responses(paramedics required), cliff rescues, or boat rescues per year. One of the toughest tasks I've had as a lifeguard was enforcing government mandated beach closure and reopening requirements during the outbreak of Coronavirus. Each year I facilitate events congregating over 17,000 people including beach concerts and the Blake Dresner Surf Memorial. With my experience I have taught rookies how to become the best public servant that they can be by sharing my passion for this job as well as the skills that I have accumulated. I have also trained over 700 children aged 13-15 to develop knowledge and lifeguard skills as a Junior Lifeguard lead instructor.

In this position I worked for a custom ice cream sandwich shop called The Baked Bear. Job duties ranged dramatically from opening/closing the store to baking the cookies. Much like my older brother had once taught me how to run the day to day operations, I in turn taught others including my younger sister some of the things I had learned through my time there.
