The Research Data Storage Infrastructure (RDSI) project is a $50 million federal government project for which The University of Queensland is the lead agent. Senior Communications Officer for the RDSI project, reporting to the Project Manager and based at UQ. Responsible for strategic and marketing communications, project management, event management, brand development and management and web site management.• Developed and implemented the RDSI strategic communications plan, incorporating an integrated portfolio of marketing and business information communication channels.• Managed project to collect and structure data communication for end users of the RDSI system, including setting the specification and project requirements and managing external project development technology resources.• Initiated and launched RDSI’s monthly newsletter and social marketing platform.• Played a major part in the design and structure of business and marketing communication through the development of the RDSI web site.• Designed the web site look, feel and content to provide a suitable interaction interface for a wide range of users, from senior academic institution leaders to researchers.• Member of the eResearch Australasia Conference Organising Committee, established to oversee and actively manage the annual conference.• Managed, developed and designed the annual delegate handbook including graphic design of covers, interior content and printing.
