Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities including the receipt documentation, storage, safety, and distribution of equipment. Ensure a FIFO system is used for all inventory including refrigerated, frozen & dry Products.Prepare and maintain work records and reports of information such as employee time and wages, daily receipts, or inspection results.Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring the physical stock is in line with the (WMS) warehouse management system and recording all stock movements to ensure accuracy.Bring to notice any finished products or raw material defects or appropriate Correction action can be taken.Review work throughout the work process and at completion to ensure that it has been performed properly.Check specifications of materials loaded or unloaded against information contained in work orders.Schedule times of shipment and modes of transportation for materials. Inventory supplies and requisition or purchase additional items, as necessary.Plan shipments to reach different branches on time and guide the warehouse staff to prepare orders based on requirements.Orders are planned based on the forecast given by the sales team.Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times Supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damageImplement standards and procedures in best warehousing practices and provide leadership in the achievement of the department’s core deliverablesIssue accurate reports on slow / Non-moving inventories and ensure it is issued according to FEFO guidelines or to an agreed liquidation plan.Track freshness of products by making sure that all FEFO procedures are followed and Destruction of expired product in time and with proper documentation.
