Senior Manager
Current• Provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members• Ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients• Effectively lead teams and inspire others to achieve goals through innovation, quality and excellence• Ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of team members and suitably make changes if required• Resource management skills and ability to handle complex / sensitive issues• Encourage team interaction, boost employee motivation and appreciate team contribution• Ensure standard procedures and project guidelines are in place• Task allocation and performance evaluation of team members• Make presentations on project status, present monthly and annual reports to senior management• Meet with client and gather requirements, conduct regular team meetings and track project progress• Guide the Project Design Engineers regarding all the design inputs received and applicable project specifications.• Check & approve Engineering Project Plan and Design Notes• Guide Project Design Engineers for preparation of General Arrangement, Weld Attachment, Detailed Drawings, Production Drawings and raw material weight estimation.• Check & approve Design Calculations.• Check all drawings prepared by Project Design Engineers• Co-ordinate with PM for drawing approvals from customer.• Monitor On Time Delivery, Productivity & Quality for various projects handled by the team.• Conduct the monthly meeting with the Stake Holder for KPI measurement & tracking• Follow department Work Instructions and ensure same are followed by all the team members.• Checking the feasibility regarding to Design, Standards & Specification, material and Manufacturing.• Project Tracking & Setting the priorities• Design assistance for the innovation project• Existing & New Product design
