Hello! This is Ashiq Ilahi, a Senior at UC Davis majoring in Civil Engineering. I am passionate about the construction industry and wish to work for a General Contractor company after graduation.Thus far, I have had the opportunity to intern with Turner Construction during the summer of 2023 and 2024. I interned as an Estimator in 2023 by working on Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel to accomplish bid leveling for various TI projects. In 2024, I interned as a Project Engineer in the MEP team for a Medical Office Building by processing RFI/submittals, tracking LEED materials, and documenting internal team meetings.I have also been a part of the ASC Student Competition as an Estimator for the Project Management Team in 2023 and the Virtual Design and Communication (VDC) Team in 2024.
