I was promoted to provide engineering and technical support for the $2B+ Global Drilling business (generating 85%+ of the company’s total revenues) across 20+ countries. In this position, I grow, manage, and maintain a $5B portfolio of offshore and onshore rigs while leading $120M in annual capital expenditure and 300 employees.

In this role, I drove new product engineering and commercialization for a wholly-owned, standalone subsidiary providing software, equipment, robotics, energy transition solutions, and after-market support for rigs utilized by both the Nabors drilling business as well as by external clients. I lead capital expenditure for any prototype built and up to 120 employeesSome of the key ways in which I made a difference include:► Drove buildout of team from 70 to 100 product engineers and enabling revenue growth.► Commercialized and deployed 1st rig floor automation module (including hardware and software) in Q3 2022 for ExxonMobil, revitalizing major initiative after 7-year standstill. ► Developed and rolled out new green energy hardware solutions, enabling conversion of rigs from diesel to highline and several other green energy solution. ► Built and launched fully automated electric catwalk.► Played key role in due diligence during investment in Natron Energy, merger with Vast (SPAC), investment in Aclima, joint venture agreement with Spectaire, and investment in several other energy transition startups.

As Director of Technical Resources & Services, I consolidated 4 technical support organizations (the Rigline Call Center, Maintenance Systems, and Nabors / Canrig technical teams) under a single umbrella. I led a $25M annual budget and 200 employees.My impact on the business:► Conceptualized and executed Smart Stack initiative in response to COVID-19 pandemic, rapidly removing 65 rigs from service in 2020 (out of total of 105) and reactivating each in 2021. ► Achieved <1.5% rig downtime due to equipment failure (v. industry average of 3%).► Delivered millions in annual savings by developing in-house capabilities and reducing reliance on 3rd-party vendors of Canrig technical organization.

As Director of Engineering, I designed and built prototypes of drilling rigs utilized by the entire Nabors organization as well as by external clients. I led an average of $30M in annual capital expenditure while overseeing a team of 28 professionals.My most notable accomplishments included:► Integrated 3 different engineering teams (domestic, international, and offshore) into single engineering department.► Designed and constructed 14 new rigs (Pace M800, M1000, M1200, and 702/703) with assets operating consistently since deployment despite downturns in market price of oil.► Designed industry’s 1st fully-automated rig (R801) that provided improved performance and consistent productivity with scalable design features, robotic pipe handler, and custom designed equipment. ► Completed $300M in mission-critical upgrades of 100+ Tier 1 rigs in U.S. and 40+ Tier 2 rigs in Saudi Arabia. ► Revamped basic rig design, reducing average manufacturing cost per rig by 10%.► Filed and attained approval for 30 U.S. and international patents in <6 years.

As Offshore Engineering Manager, I drove engineering design and technical support for the construction, refurbishment, upgrade, and maintenance of a $500M+ portfolio of offshore jack-ups and platform rigs across Saudi Arabia, Qatar, U.A.E., Bahrain, Congo, India, and Mexico. In this role, I led $45M in annual capital expenditure and teams of up to 100 professionals.My best achievements were:► Led projects valued at up to $30M each for key clients such as Saudi Aramco, ONGC India, Nobel, and Pemex.► Played vital role in construction of new drilling rig (3000 HP Platform Drilling Rig) for GSPC India. ► Oversaw Ocean Master VIII refurbishment project for Oxy Qatar.► Managed offshore platform rig upgrades in India and Congo.

I relocated to the U.A.E. to spearhead one of the company’s largest single-asset initiative after rig 660 was damaged by a hurricane. I managed a team of 11 engineers, draftsmen, and quality inspectors completing repairs and upgrades of mechanical, electrical, piping, structural, architectural, and safety systems.

In this position, I supported day-to-day operations of offshore modular platform rigs SD6 and SD7 while overseeing a 10-person team. I completed 28+ offshore modifications / upgrades, decreasing the time required to complete interface moves by 25%.
