I was part of Online Risk Management team which was responsible for monitoring the base capital of the trading members on per trade basis. LBM, Socket programming, Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading, Polymorphism, the new NIO package were some of the implemented key components. Latency Buster Messaging (LBM) is a low latency multicast messaging service.Implemented a module responsible for recieving OFS orders from the trading system via TCP channel and then storing the same in the Risk database which was on oracle platform. Socket programming and JDBC were the key in the components developed.Actively participated in the automation of BOD/EOD processes.Also worked actively on the front end for Exchange Traded Funds (ETF). JSP and Servlets were used extensively for developing this functionality. Show less
