➢ Receives, logs and allocates a priority to all requests for changes that are totally impractical ➢ Updates the change log with all progress that occurs, including any actions to correct problems and/or to take opportunities to improve service quality ➢ Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities. ➢ Manage change escalations in a timely manner. ➢ Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics. ➢ Evaluate change requests for business need, priority, time/duration, cost/benefit, and potential impacts to other systems or processes ➢ Create change management strategy. ➢ Upon receiving Request for Change (RFC), create logs and allocate priority to all RFCs that are totally impractical. ➢ Table all RFCs for a Change Advisory Board (CAB) meeting, issue an agenda and circulate all requests for changes to CAB members in advance of meetings to allow prior consideration. ➢ Convene urgent CAB or ECAB meetings for all urgent RFCs. ➢ Chair all CAB and ECAB meetings.
